Leadership
Antonio A. Arias, our CEO & Managing Partner, brings a wealth of experience from senior finance roles and institutional capital raises. His diverse expertise includes full mine-cycle infrastructure projects with Brookfield companies and TSX/NASDAQ dual-listed issuers.
Antonio has successfully navigated all life stages of mining development, from mineral discovery to production, and has held senior finance roles such as CFO and CAO. Notably, he provided financial oversight for a ~$370M mining infrastructure project and co-led a $100M institutional fundraising effort that led to a $525M acquisition by Barrick Gold.
After the sale of a gold mine to Barrick Mining in 1999, Antonio shifted his focus from corporate leadership to full-time entrepreneurship and angel venture investing. He established ALAMidas Capital Partners in 2016, and in August 2022, pivoted to become a PE independent Sponsor targeting middle market enterprises.
