Antonio A. Arias, our CEO & Managing Partner, brings to its investees more than 17 years of leadership and best practices acquired from the mining sector, notably with a Brookfield, AUM $1T (fka Brascan) portfolio company. His expertise spans:
- Experience in the entire life stages of building a mine from mineral discovery to advanced feasibility-stage infrastructure construction to production
- Senior finance roles (CFO, CAO, Treasurer)
- Securing institutional non-recourse debt and equity financing totalling approximately $800 million.
Following the exit sale of a gold mine to Barrick Mining in 1999, Antonio transitioned from corporate leadership to full-time entrepreneurship. Over the next decades, he built a track record in angel venture investing and, since 2020, pivoted to focus on the middle market with ALAMidas Capital Partners.
