Experience in the entire life stages of building a mine, from mineral discovery to advanced feasibility-stage infrastructure construction to production. Senior finance roles (CFO, CAO, Treasurer). Financial oversight of a ~$370M mining infrastructure mandate (Westmin Resources, Brookfield portfolio); co-led a $100M institutional raise culminating in a $525M acquisition by Barrick Gold (Sutton Resources, TSX/NASDAQ).
Following the exit sale of a gold mine to Barrick Mining in 1999, Antonio transitioned from corporate leadership to full-time entrepreneurship. Over the next decades, he built a track record in angel venture investing, founded ALAMidas Capital Partners in 2016 and pivoted to focus on the middle market.
